I have used many different vegan ground crumbles, but the Boca veggie ground crumbles are my favorite. Boca uses pure ingredients, and it is also carrageenan free. Carrageenan is used in everything from yogurt to ice cream. It acts as a thickener to improve the texture of certain foods; however, several animal studies have linked carrageenan to ulcerations and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract.
