Before the whole food poisoning crisis hit Chipotle, it was one of my favorite places. I would frequently order a burrito bowl from the eatery, but then came the epidemic of bad headlines regarding food safety. The chain is still struggling to recover, and I have never revisited the place. So, of course the natural thing to do would be to create my own version of my favorite Chipotle dish, the burrito bowl...and I did exactly that! In fact, once I combined all of my ingredients I found I liked my version way better than the one that I frequently bought before from Chipotle.
